The mission of the Finance Department is to provide accurate and timely financial information, advice, and service to the Mayor, Council, and Department Heads assisting them in fulfilling the City’s missions and safeguarding and monitoring the City's financial resources by implementing financial policies and providing analysis to the City’s stakeholders. As well as, promoting a healthy fiscal foundation for the community through collaborative efforts with elected officials, city staff, and citizens in long-term planning and day-to-day management.
